How we hire

Our Process

DE&I Mission Statement

We maximize our employees’ and customers’ human potential by cultivating inclusive experiences that support the uniqueness of our world including race, ethnicity, national origin, gender identity, sexuality, thinking style, background, disability, religion, spirituality, and age.

Step 1 – Submit Your Application

You completed the first step! At Nutrabolt, we regard action over inaction and thank you for your interest in a career with us. We also value the time you spent completing our application and will review your credentials as quickly, but thoroughly, as possible.

Application Review

During the next several days, our Talent Acquisition Team will carefully review each application to match qualified candidates with each of our open positions. This means that you may also be considered for a role that is not yet posted or one you didn’t apply for.

This process can take up to a week depending on our applicant volume and the competitiveness of the position. Please be patient with us and remember to keep an eye out in your inbox.

If our team finds that your experience and background is a match, you’ll be asked to complete our pre-employment assessment, Wonderlic.

Pre-Employment Assessment

As part of our hiring process, we’ve implemented Wonderlic, a pre-employment assessment that assists us with forecasting your success at Nutrabolt.

The Wonderlic assessment measures your cognitive ability in correlation to the role you have applied for, and is backed by validated data, in-depth psychologist research, innovative technology, and ethical standards.

We want to set you up for success and Wonderlic helps us achieve that.

Preliminary Phone Screen

During the preliminary phone interview, you’ll have your first chance to speak directly with our Talent Acquisition Team. This is your opportunity to go into detail about your experience and how it relates to the position you applied for. Make your first impression count!

Hiring Manager Phone Interviews

By this stage, the Hiring Manager is already familiar with you. Be ready to share specific examples of your accomplishments, business impacts, challenges you’ve overcome and anything else that will shed light on why you are the best candidate for the job. If you have any additional questions like how success is measured or what the goals are, now is the time to ask.

Virtual Interviews

In the final stage, you’ll meet with some of the cross-functional partners of this role in a face-to-face setting. These interviews will last anywhere from 30-45 minutes and are generally focused on Nutrabolt’s core values. We recommend that you review this list and come prepared with examples of past experiences where you’ve demonstrated similar values.

Depending on the role, we may also ask you to complete a “Skills in Action” exercise.

The purpose of this exercise is to demonstrate your methodology, approach and technical skills related to the position. Think of this as a chance to experience what it would be like to work on the team. Examples of a Skills in Action exercise could include an Excel activity, case study, or presentation.

Once you’ve completed your final round of virtual interviews, you’ll typically hear back from us within a week. This gives our team a chance to debrief and prepare a competitive offer for you.

If selected, a member of our Talent Acquisition Team will call you with the good news and extend a verbal offer to join our team.
